Jagwire Weld Cutting & Cable stopper
The photos below compare Jagwire’s weld-cutting methods to the punch-cut methods used by other manufacturers. Our weld-cutting process electronically fuses the leading end of a cable, which keeps the cable from unwinding and makes for easier insertion into cable housing or conduit. It also eliminates the need for an acid bath treatment, which can lead to cable corrosion over time. On the other end we use a welded-stopper that reinforces the stopper (or flower) making for a stronger die-cast to cable bond.
